Today I go on a mission.

A very special mission.

To find all the planets on the Melbourne Solar System walk

The scale is a 1-to 1Billion scale!!
So the 5.9billion kilometers from the Sun to Pluto,is for me only a 5.9kilometer walk!!
For every 1mm you walk, it is 1,000 kilometers.
Every centimeter is 10,000 kilometers.
Every Meter you walk (one & a half steps) is 1,000,000 (million) kilometers.
So simply, the 5.9 Kilometers you walk = 5.9 Million Kilometers in space.

Sadly I started out badly by walking to far south from the starting point.

Jumped onto what looked like a giant mobile phone,to see where I was.

Elwood..? Oh nooooo

So a bit of a walk resulted

"Cro--quet".. Cro-kay" is how you SAY, this game.

 Ahh.. there you are Melbourne !!

 Won't be to far, til I begin my walk through the planets.

 What a pretty place for a walk.

I have had the song on my MP3 for ages & loved the heartfelt lyrics(i guess)

It was not until,I recently searched for the MV & the meaning left me feeling quite down.

But love does that I guess,to people.

The two of them are very much in love & that just makes it even worse.(for me)

(Quite possibly the only song title that is either a palindrome/ Tautology) 

This MV has so many levels, of love, time travel, missed love & fuzzy wuzzy animals.

I struggle to watch this, without tearing up.

Even without searching out the lyrics, the visuals are enough.

If you can get past the un tuned Guitar at the opening, the story is oh so :(

After looking for a guitar,only to have it sold as she reaches it, the story of love begins..

and then.....

 A "Croc" on the Steve Irwins bridge,is a nice touch.

 This was blessed by the Dali Lama.

 Interesting story, this oil drum was constructed by one of the engineers onboard, to be placed over the exhaust stacks, when whaling ships pumps lots of water onto this boat(in order to flood the engine).

This design allows the Steve Irwin to keep moving easily.

Leaving Willie,to head to Docklands

I love this building, that uses a really pretty Purple on the outside.

 Really pop's out, the nice purple

"The Tecla is now owned by a family of professional sailors,who returned her to sail under the Dutch colors.

"A two mast ketch,her appearance is kept as traditional as possible. "On board the crew works with a sail training program to get the best from her"
