"Built in 1915 to work the rich North Sea fishig zones of herring, Tecla fished as one of the last true commercial sailing vessels before going into retirement & then into Danish ownership as a transport and cargo ship.
"The Tecla is now owned by a family of professional sailors,who returned her to sail under the Dutch colors.
"A two mast ketch,her appearance is kept as traditional as possible. "On board the crew works with a sail training program to get the best from her"
